Very fast internet

I am so happy at the moment. We have UFI (ultra fast internet). All those days of reloading the page because it loaded too slow. All of the days when you couldn't type on Google docs or load your emails. It is all gone. Now you can open a you tab or website and it has loaded very fast. I like this because you can get more done.

The temperature suddenly dropped

The temperature suddenly dropped. I was in Australia. It was boiling hot. So hot that the sun was burning my skin through my clothes. I could hear thunder and lightning in the distance. I was happy that the rain was coming but I didn't want to be flooded. The rain can flood in Australia in a couple of minutes. I could hear a waterfall nearby so I needed to head to higher ground. I saw a cliff and decided to climb it was getting darker and I needed to make a hut off the ground so the water doesn't get me wet.

 I get some wood that I could tie together with vines. It was getting darker by the second I was nervous. I hope I make my hut in time. But then the rain comes tipping down. I have made a bed of the ground and put some leaves on it but I don't want to get wet. I am going to have to make a fire and a little roof. I am running to get wood and cut it down . I am wet head to toe. I also am cold. I find some wood it is hard work cutting it down. I finally cut some wood of a tree. I make my roof as fast as I can. It is the same design as my bed but you put it on a Diagonal. By the time I make my fire the rain is stopped . I am freezing cold and are lying as close as I can to the fire. The sun is up and it is going to be another hot day in the sun.

Olympic Creed/ Oath

At the start of each Olympics, every athlete promises to play fairly and obey all of the Olympic rules. One athlete from the host country takes the oath at the opening ceremony on behalf of all athletes.

My favourite website

This is my favourite website at the moment. It is Fancy Pants World War 3. There is Fancy Pants world war 1 and also 2. This game is about trying to defeat the pirates. The keys are S for jump. The arrow keys for running going backwards and left and right. you also have to collect the spirals to have more lives. Beware of the spiders, crabs, frogs also the pirates! Have fun!

Alison Shanks Summarising

 Alison Shanks is a top New Zealand cyclist. She has won these events 2009 Track cycling World champion, 2010 Commonwealth games gold medal and she has lots more. This year London Olympics 2012  - 27th July – 12th August , London World Cup 16th – 19th February, Track World Championships 2012 – Melbourne 4th – 8th April. Alison Shanks birthday is 13/12/1986. She is 26 years old. Her home town is Dunedin “sunny dunnos” she calls it. She also loves playing basketball and reading books in her spare time.
