Day 3 White water rafting
+(1).JPG)
“Splash!” As the raft enters the water. The current tries to jerk the raft in more to the bank but fails. The vibrant excitement surfs up my spine as we hit the first rapid. I feel like a very lucky person doing white water rafting.
“Another rapid is coming up,” Dion our raft instructor cackles. I hold on for dear life as we are going to a rapid but Dion looked at me and he stammered back “don’t hold on”. As we went over the rapid “splash” as the water splash onto my wet body.We rafted for another half an hour and Dion notified the Strikers that carnage corner was around the corner. I was as worried as a sheep going for it’s first shave. Forward paddle Dion commanded as we go into another rapid I see carnage corner straight ahead we a going closer and closer and closer and “boom”! We smash into carnage corner, Go nearly halfway up the bank it was covered with moss and little trees trying to grow. I hear sounds of girls and boys squealing with excitement as they go up the bank too.
After hours of white water rafting we come to a whirl pool part. I fell out and grab onto the nearest rope and it is the Chinchillas raft as Mike [Their raft instructor] tries to pull me up on to the Chinchilla's raft. The Chinchillas shout welcome to the Chinchillas you are a new member, I shout back I’m not I am a Striker in the Strikers team! As I go back to the Strikers raft I go very carefully. Then the rafting finished. I didn't want to hop out of the raft because it was so much fun but I did hop out. Then I stammered to myself I can go again with my family!
