More Playgrounds are needed

Dear Hastings District Council 


I think Hastings needs more playgrounds. Well to start off with, Napier has lots more playgrounds than Hastings. Like that big playground in Napier that is on Marine Parade and the one by the Napier Port.


Also little kids are going on the playgrounds where big kids want to play on because that piece of equipment is challenging more than the other equipment on the playground. So we should get other equipment that is for more challenging for the older kids.




Reason 2
The playgrounds are far too small. They get crowded and people want to go on the same thing. But I have got a solution for that.  You get two playgrounds one for 10 years and over and then the other one people under 10, simple then if that does not work will get more pieces of the same equipment.


Reason 3
Not enough equipment on the playground. Come on a slide, swings and a climbing wall is not enough. People will not go and play on the playground if it is that borring. More like lots of equipment will make it more fun because the children will not be able to choose what to play on and will spend more time at the playground. 


So what are you waiting for, build more playgrounds, get more equipment and build build build for the children of Hastings!
